Open discussion BME

Dear student,

Most probably, you have experienced courses or situations in the program which you thought were handled very well, or some may be less well which you have a constructive opinion about.

On the 9th of June from 12:00-13:00, the programme board of Engineering will be organizing an open discussion session where you can share your feedback about the program.

Since the session is during lunch, you will even be provided with a free lunch, a Dutch speciality called a ‘broodje kroket’! Because lunch will be served, we would like to have an indication on how many students are joining and how many meat or vegetarian options we should get. Therefore, please fill out the sign-up form here if you would like to join the discussion session. There is also space in the form to leave any feedback if you are unable to join but still want to raise your voice.

During the session, there will be multiple subgroups where different topics will be discussed. You will rotate between different topics, so that you can discuss everything in a smaller group. For each topic we have some specific questions we will ask, but during the session there is of course to share more feedback about these or other topics. The topics that will be discussed are the following:

- General well-being
- Assessment and examination
- Research projects and career orientation
- Transition from mandatory to track-specific courses

From the discussion session, a report will be made with a summary and specific action points, which will be used by the program and sent to professors within the program.

Therefore, now is your time to share all of your opinions with the program in a centralized setting, so don’t be silent and join the open discussion session!
