Ecology & Evolution Meet and Greet

Dear Ecology & Evolution Students,

Looking to explore exciting career opportunities within the field of Ecology and Evolution? Then we have just the activity for you: The Ecology & Evolution Meet and Greet! An amazing way to connect with companies and institutions within the field of Ecology and Evolution.

Join us on February 25th from 15:00 till 19:00 in ‘the Eye’ of Linneausborg. This afternoon multiple organizations and professionals will share their work, mission, and opportunities. Afterwards you are welcome to join for networking drinks, where you can ask questions and discover potential career paths up close! The event is completely free (including the drinks) and open to members as well as externals.

The event will be opened by Anouk Goedknegt, who has had a very impressive and broad career in Ecology so far: she has worked as a postdoc, worked for the government, worked at a consultancy firm and now works as an independent counselor and coach in (marine) biology. With her broad background in Ecology, she now gives students advice on what kind of job to pursue in her own marine ecology advice company.

The event will be continued by interesting presentations from companies within different fields of Ecology & Evolution, such as Royal HaskoningDHV, Wageningen Marine Research, Eco-Reest and AT-KB, and will be closed by Nibi: the Dutch institute for Biology and producer of the Bionieuws newspapers.
